People’s power won in Bengal, great mandate in Assam… PM Modi spoke on election results
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that people’s power has won in West Bengal and BJP’s politics of good governance has won, while NDA’s victory in Assam is a symbol of the unwavering faith of the people in the politics of development and public welfare.
PM Modi said in a series of posts on ‘X’ that the public in Bengal has given an unprecedented mandate to the BJP. He said, “I assure them that our party will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the people of West Bengal. Our double engine government will ensure equal opportunities and respect for all sections of the society.
The Prime Minister said, “The lotus has blossomed in West Bengal! The West Bengal Assembly elections of 2026 will be unforgettable. People power has won and BJP’s politics of good governance has got full blessings of the people here (Bengal). I am deeply grateful to my brothers and sisters of Bengal for this historic victory.
He said, “This record victory of BJP in West Bengal is the result of decades of tireless efforts and struggles of our hardworking workers. I salute them all. He has worked hard continuously at the grassroots level and faced many challenges. He has taken forward our development agenda. They are the real strength of our party.” On the victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Assam, the Prime Minister said, ”Assam has once again given its full blessings to the BJP-NDA!”
He said that this victory of BJP-NDA in the Assam Assembly elections is a symbol of the unwavering faith of the people towards the politics of development and public welfare. Modi said, “I express my gratitude to my family members of Assam for this tremendous mandate. I assure them that we will continue to work for the all-round development of the state.
He said, “I heartily congratulate all the BJP-NDA workers who worked hard day and night even amidst the scorching heat of Assam. It is heartening to see that our party and alliance have grown stronger in the state in the last decade. His efforts have ensured that our positive agenda reaches the hearts of the people of Assam.
The Prime Minister also thanked the people of Puducherry for giving another victory to the NDA. On the Kerala Assembly elections, the Prime Minister said he wanted to thank all the people who voted for the BJP-NDA in the southern state. “We will continue to raise issues important for the progress of Kerala and work hard to realize the dream of ‘Developing Kerala’,” he said. I congratulate UDF on its victory in the Kerala Assembly elections. The Central Government will always support the development aspirations of the people of Kerala.
Expressing his gratitude to the voters of the state who supported the NDA in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Modi said the (AIADMK-led NDA in the state) alliance will always be at the forefront in solving the problems of the people and improving their quality of life. He said, “Congratulations to TVK for its excellent performance. The Central Government will make every possible effort for the progress of Tamil Nadu and the welfare of its people.
