Peter Krause is giving fans another show to look forward to after his dramatic exit from 9-1-1.
The 61-year-old actor has given a sneak peek at his new and upcoming NBC drama Line of Fire.
In chat with People and Entertainment Weekly at the red carpet of the 78th annual Emmys on September 14, opened up about the series, saying, “It’s a great suspense-thriller, family-drama-comedy.”
“The lovely and talented Hope Davis; I play her husband. She’s Jane, I’m Mike,” he went on to give some insight into the show.
He revealed that his character would be in secret service while Jane will be a federal marshal and they will be parents to three kids: Kat Cunning, Taylor Bloom, Tommy O’Brien.
“FBI, Secret Service, Department of Justice, and there are some surprises that I can’t tell you about,” Peter remarked, before teasing, “Major surprises that propel the series forward, a cliffhanger every episode.”
“Probably one of the most exciting TV series I’ve done,” the Parenthood actor admitted.
The series is expected to come out on September 21.
However, fans will have to tune in weekly as episodes will drop every Monday at 10 p.m. ET.
This is his first new TV role since leaving 9-1-1 in 2025, following his run as firefighter Bobby Nash, whose character died in Season 8.
