According to information received from media reports, earlier the price of 1 liter petrol in Pakistan was Rs 316 15 paise. Now after a reduction of 35 paise, the new petrol is available at the rate of Rs 315, which is 80 paise per litre.

On the contrary, diesel prices are skyrocketing. Earlier the price of 1 liter diesel was Rs 354 35 paise, which has now directly increased to Rs 360 06 paise per liter after a huge increase of Rs 5 71 paise. This fluctuation in prices has started having a new impact on the pockets of the general public.

How much change in the prices of petrol and diesel amid tension?

If we look at the past situation and the period of Middle East crisis, huge fluctuations in prices have been seen. Before the crisis, the price of diesel in Pakistan was around Rs 281 per liter, which increased to Rs 520 35 paise between February 28 and April 3. At the same time, the price of petrol which started at Rs 266 per liter had also increased to Rs 458 per liter by April 3.

According to this, if petrol is available in Pakistan at Rs 315 80 paise per liter, then according to Indian currency it comes to around Rs 109 per liter.
