UP Petrol Diesel Price 27 June: Due to tension between America and Iran, concerns about supply had increased, due to which the prices of all types of fuel and Brent crude had increased. However, as geopolitical tensions eased on Thursday, the price of Brent crude fell to $72.48 per barrel, which is the same level as before the dispute.
Although talks between Washington and Tehran remain difficult, after the initial round of talks, both sides have shown signs of progress, raising hopes of a long-term solution to the dispute. Meanwhile, there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Thursday, June 25.
Fuel prices have been increased four times since the US-Iran tension started. The last price hike was announced last month, with petrol and diesel rates increasing by about ₹2.6 and ₹2.7 per litre. Overall, prices have increased by ₹7.5–8 since the controversy started.
