Pineapple Festival 2026: Pineapple Festival will be held in Dilli Haat, know the timing and specialties

The capital Delhi is once again ready to see a glimpse of the agriculture, culture and taste of North-East India. A 3-day Meghalaya Pineapple Festival 2026 will be organized at Dilli Haat from 10 to 12 July. The objective of this festival is to give a new identity to the famous pineapple of Meghalaya at the national level, to connect the farmers and entrepreneurs of the state with big markets and to promote agro-based business. The grand inauguration of the festival will take place on the evening of July 10, which is likely to be attended by several key representatives of the Central Government and the Government of Meghalaya.

Pineapple Festival will run from 10th to 12th July

Meghalaya Pineapple Festival 2026 will be organized from 10 to 12 July 2026 at Dilli Haat. This three-day festival will be open to the general public every day from 11 am to 9 pm. Visitors to the festival will be able to see and understand the fresh pineapples of Meghalaya, various value-added products prepared from them, local handicrafts and agro-based innovations. Apart from this, there will also be an opportunity to interact directly with farmers and entrepreneurs and get information related to their products and farming.

The inaugural ceremony of Meghalaya Pineapple Festival 2026 will be held on July 10 at 5 pm. On this occasion, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will attend as the chief guest, while Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma will grace the program as a special guest. During the inaugural ceremony, both the leaders will share their views on various topics related to Meghalaya’s agriculture, entrepreneurship and development of North-East India. There is also a possibility of discussion on better marketing of agricultural products, increasing the income of farmers and regional development.

During the inaugural ceremony, both the leaders will share their views on issues related to agriculture, entrepreneurship of Meghalaya and overall development of North-East India. A special video based on Meghalaya Pineapple will be screened during this program. Along with this, MoU signing ceremony will also be organized between Flipkart and NeML. This initiative is being considered an important step towards connecting the pineapple producers of Meghalaya with the digital market and large business network.

Meghalaya Pineapple: A journey of four volumes’ special booklet to be released

A special booklet titled ‘Meghalaya Pineapple: A Journey of Four Volumes’ will also be released at the inaugural ceremony of the Meghalaya Pineapple Festival 2026. This publication presents in detail the journey of the four editions of the festival, key achievements and development of the pineapple industry of Meghalaya. Through the booklet, it will be told how this festival has played an important role in giving national recognition to the pineapple of Meghalaya, providing new markets to the farmers and promoting agro-based enterprises.
