PM Awas Yojana 2.0: Home buyers are in trouble, government came out with this amazing plan

Buying one’s own home is every person’s dream, but due to rising prices and expensive loans, this dream remains a distant dream for many families. Now a big relief news is coming from the Central Government for such families. Modi government is working on a very special proposal under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2.0, which will be no less than a boon for middle class families. The government plans to provide direct interest subsidy of up to 4 percent on home loans.

Direct savings up to Rs 1.80 lakh

Under this proposed plan of the government, the beneficiary will get an interest subsidy of 4 percent on the first Rs 8 lakh of home loan. The interesting thing is that this benefit can be given for a period of up to 12 years. If we look at it from a mathematical point of view, an eligible family can get a total benefit of around Rs 1.80 lakh. This subsidy will be directly adjusted in your loan account, which will not only reduce your principal amount but will also reduce the burden of EMI every month to a great extent.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

This scheme is mainly for those who are buying their home for the first time. However, some rules can also be decided for this. To avail the benefit of this scheme, you should not already have a permanent house. Also, your annual income should be within the eligibility limit set by the government. Apart from this, the price of the house and the loan amount should also be within the limits set by the government. However, the final eligibility conditions will be completely clear only after the official notification from the government.

The burden on the common man’s pocket will be reduced

In the last few years, rising property prices and expensive bank interest have broken the back of the common man. Buying a house has become a difficult challenge for middle class families. Experts believe that if this 4 percent interest subsidy is implemented, the EMI mathematics will completely change. This will not only encourage people to buy homes but will also help in keeping their budget balanced.

Official announcement may come soon

At present, this entire scheme is part of the proposed draft of the government. Currently work on its terms and conditions is underway. As soon as the government makes its official announcement, the path to their dream home will become easier for lakhs of families. After the implementation of this scheme, with government support and interest savings, buying a home will become more affordable and easier than ever.
