PM Modi congratulated VD Satheesan on taking oath as Kerala CM, said- assured the Kerala government of all possible support from the Centre.

Kerala Cabinet Swearing-in : The entire cabinet including Keralam’s new CM VD Satheesan has taken oath on Monday. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath to the new UDF government cabinet at a ceremony held at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi has congratulated VD Satheesan on becoming the new CM of Kerala. With this he has assured full support of the Center to the new Kerala government.

“Hearty congratulations to V.D. Satheesan ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Kerala. I extend my best wishes for his tenure. To fulfill the aspirations of the people, the newly formed Kerala Government is assured of all possible support from the Central Government,” PM Modi wrote in an X Post on Monday. Let us tell you that the Congress-led UDF had won the recently held Kerala Assembly elections, in which it had won 102 out of 140 seats.

For the first time in 60 years, the entire cabinet took oath together in Kerala on Monday. The UDF cabinet includes 11 from the Congress, five from the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and other alliance partners of the UDF. Many senior leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi were present in this grand ceremony.
