PM Modi and Trump met at G7 summit, shook hands warmly; pictures went viral

PM Modi Meet Donald Trump: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met during the 52nd G7 Summit being held in France. This meeting between PM Modi and President Donald Trump is very important. During the meeting, both the leaders smiled and warmly shook hands and greeted each other. Both the leaders were seen talking. This is the first meeting between the two leaders after the war started in West Asia.

First meeting after West Asia crisis

Recently, Indian civilians were killed in the American attack during the war in West Asia. There was a lot of uproar in India regarding this. Everyone’s eyes were on the meeting of the two heads of state at the G7 Summit to be held in France. This is the first meeting of PM Modi and Trump after the Iran-US war that started in February. After the war started, the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz was affected. This affected the entire world including India.

First bilateral meeting after ‘Operation Sindoor’

Prime Minister Modi and President Donald Trump will hold a bilateral meeting on Wednesday. In this meeting, many important issues related to economic development, supply chain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), investment partnership and world security will be discussed. This will be the first bilateral meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi after the successful ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan last year.

PM attended G-7 summit for the 7th time

This is India’s 13th participation in the G-7 Summit and Prime Minister Modi’s 7th consecutive presence in it. June 16 and 17 of the G-7 summit have been kept for outreach sessions, in which Prime Minister Modi will participate along with leaders of other invited countries. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), these meetings will mainly discuss issues like strengthening international partnerships, increasing cooperation for development, balanced economic development and effectively pursuing Artificial Intelligence.
