PM Modi released a video on Friday night, expressing his desire to speak to the people. He said that the nation and the world witnessed what happened at Jantar Mantar. He spoke of the use of inappropriate abuse. He also stated that mistakes are made in childhood, and that they provide an opportunity to improve. He stated that this abuse has caused outrage within society, and also a cultural shock about how daughters could use such vulgar language. The PM said that despite this, it is time to embrace these children and show them the right path. He called those who abused at Jantar Mantar misguided and said that it is our job to show them the right path. Punishing them, making them run to court, or harassing them in society will not change the situation.
Abuses never solve anything.
Let’s guide the misguided.
Let’s work together.
Let’s work for Bharat. pic.twitter.com/yAePG60KYL

PM Modi said he wants to forgive such people and that society should accept this. He cited the example of the tongue and teeth. He said that sometimes the tongue gets stuck under the teeth, causing bleeding, but we don’t break the teeth because both the teeth and the tongue are ours. He said that children are ours, and it’s our job to guide them. He also said that guiding the misguided is difficult, and that’s what we have to do. He urged the abusive children to come together and grow together for the country. Learn something new, learn from mistakes, and set out with dreams. He said that the country is progressing rapidly and is about to do so. PM Modi said that his dream is to ensure that you too progress. He said that he lives and works hard for children, for their bright future. He called for working together to move the country forward.
