PM Modi met members of the Indian diaspora community in Seychelles

PM held talks with President Patrick Hermini on various issues

Victoria. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with members of the Indian expatriate community in Seychelles. Prime Minister Modi interacted with a group of Indian expatriate community in Victoria and also took photographs with them. Prime Minister Modi is currently on a three-day visit to Seychelles. During this, he held extensive talks with President Patrick Hermini on various issues.

He attended the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Seychelles’ National Day as a special guest on Sunday. India and Seychelles are currently celebrating 50 years of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

At a special ceremony, President Harmini honored Prime Minister Modi with the ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’ honour. He was honored for his leadership in the green sector, his efforts to advance the interests of developing countries and his long-term commitment to promoting the maritime economy. The Prime Minister will leave for home on Monday.
