PM Modi will reach France before G7, big talks will be held on defense cooperation

Knews Desk- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of France and Slovakia from June 13 to 18. The most important stop of this trip will be France, where PM Modi will participate in the G-7 summit and discuss giving a new direction to the India-France strategic partnership. In recent years, cooperation between the two countries has steadily strengthened in the fields of defence, technology, energy and global security.

France is considered one of India’s most trusted strategic partners. Many important agreements have already been signed between the two countries in the defense sector like Rafale fighter aircraft, submarine technology and defense production. According to French diplomatic sources, India will be among the major participating countries in this conference and will play a role in many important meetings.

Experts believe that this visit will further strengthen the relations between India and France. Both countries are working on a common strategy to increase cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, partner in defense production and deal with global challenges. Apart from this, new opportunities for trade, investment and technical cooperation can also be discussed.

This visit of PM Modi is taking place at a time when the global geopolitical situation is changing rapidly. In such a situation, the increasing closeness between India and France is considered important not only for both the countries but also for the global strategic balance.
