Smoke came out of double engine, before 2017 the CM himself had no identity…. Akhilesh Yadav’s sharp attack on Yogi-Modi government

Shiv Shankar Savita- Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has opened an all-out front against the Modi government at the Center and the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. Speaking to the media in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav took the government to task on many serious issues including the plight of farmers, inflation, reservation, caste census and the country’s foreign policy. He claimed that in the last 10 years, the ‘double engine’ government has completely failed and now the ‘PDA’ (Backward, Dalit, Minority) family is all set to oust the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from power.

“Those who got recognition after 2017 are raising questions on the identity of UP.”

Making a direct and sharp attack on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the SP chief said, “I often hear the Chief Minister saying that Uttar Pradesh had no identity before 2017. But the bitter truth is that before 2017, the Chief Minister himself did not have any major identity in the politics of Uttar Pradesh.” Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically said that those who got their political identity after becoming the Chief Minister in 2017, are today questioning the glorious history of Uttar Pradesh and its old identity, which is extremely ridiculous.

Foreign policy siege: “If they had stopped the war, they would have really been called ‘world gurus’”

Akhilesh Yadav also raised questions on the country’s foreign policy, referring to the ongoing geopolitical tension between America and Iran and the situation in the ‘Strait of Hormuz’. He said that the current situation on the international stage reflects a major mistake in India’s foreign policy. If the Government of India and our Prime Minister had succeeded in stopping this war, then many innocent lives would have been saved. Today India’s economy itself is in deep crisis. If the PM had really shown the ability to stop this war, then the country would have truly been called a ‘Vishwa Guru’, no one becomes a Vishwa Guru just by making statements.”

Mandis not made for farmers, accused of looting elections

Akhilesh Yadav, while attacking the government on the issue of farmers, said that this is the first government in the country which has not created new markets anywhere for the welfare of the farmers. If the markets had functioned smoothly and farmers had got the right to their crops, the condition of the country’s economy would not have been so bad today. Along with this, he made a big accusation on BJP and said that BJP only knows how to ask for votes in the name of cow. He claimed that BJP has looted the elections of Bengal and Bihar and if the same tactics are adopted in Uttar Pradesh, democracy will end and there will never be fair elections again. He alleged that BJP wants to delimit Lok Sabha seats as per its own for its political gains.

“As soon as SP government is formed, action will be taken against those who carried out fake encounters.”

While calling upon his workers, Akhilesh Yadav said that it is due to the unity of ‘PDA’ that today even BJP is forced to accept the issue of caste census. He appealed to the workers to get the voter list corrected in their respective villages so that no irregularities take place in the elections. Speaking on the issue of reservation, he said that BJP has deliberately taken away the reservation of PDA people and their constitutional rights. Giving a strict warning to the Uttar Pradesh Police and Administration, he said, “As soon as the Samajwadi Party government is formed, all the fake encounters that have taken place under this government will be investigated impartially and the strictest action will be taken against the guilty officers.” He promised the public that when the SP government comes to power, the ambulance system in the state will be restored and free treatment for the poor will be ensured in hospitals.
