Sports Car: Porsche has launched its new 911 GT3 in the Indian market. This high-performance sports car is specially designed for driving enthusiasts who want outstanding performance both on the road and on the race track. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 3.32 crore, while its price can go higher with different customization options.
The company has started booking this model and its deliveries are expected to start by mid-2026. The number of units available in India will depend on global production and shipping schedules. The Porsche 911 GT3 carries forward its motorsport heritage with more advanced technology and performance than ever before.
Design
The design of the new Porsche 911 GT3 is very aggressive and aerodynamic. The car gets large front air intakes, massive rear wing, wide fenders and a special aero package for better airflow. Carbon fiber has been used in many parts to keep weight down and increase performance.
Apart from this, LED headlights and new designed indicators give it a modern and sporty look. At the same time, customers choosing Touring Package get a relatively more subtle design. Overall, this car looks like a road-going machine straight from the race track.
interior
The cabin of the 911 GT3 is completely driver-centric. It features a combination of Race-Tex and leather finish, lightweight bucket seats and a simple yet premium dashboard. Customers can also opt for carbon fiber bucket seats.
The car gets a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system, although its main focus is to improve the driving experience. Apart from this, 18-way adjustable seats, heating function and high-quality finish make it comfortable even for long journeys.
Features
The new GT3 has Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Torque Vectoring System, Sport Chrono Package and multiple driving modes. It also comes with modern features like high-resolution touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, premium audio system and cruise control.
For track driving, features like launch control, track modes and digital performance display have also been included in it.
Security
In terms of safety, Porsche has equipped the GT3 with modern technologies. It has features like ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), multiple airbags and tire pressure monitoring system.
Customers can also opt for carbon-ceramic brakes at additional cost. The car’s structure has been developed in accordance with motorsport standards for improved high-speed stability and safety. However, this is a performance-oriented car, so advanced driver-assistance features have been kept limited.
Engine and Performance
The new Porsche 911 GT3 has a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six petrol engine. This engine generates maximum power of 510 PS and peak torque of 450 Nm.
This engine is capable of revving up to 9,000 rpm and is known for its distinctive exhaust sound. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, while its top speed is 311 km/h.
Customers get the option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. The lightweight chassis, precise handling and motorsport-tuned suspension allow the car to perform brilliantly on the track, while remaining practical enough for everyday driving.
