Indian comedian Pranit More has made his comeback after the controversy that stirred heavy criticism.
The comedian faced severe backlash earlier in June after a clip of his live show went viral where he backed an audience member’s misogynist joke that was not received well by the masses.
Pranit returned to stage with a live show in Georgia, which was shot on June 14, 2026, just sayd after the controversy made waves online.
In the now viral video, Pranit could be seen getting emotional expressing his concerns over his reputation and doubts if the audience would ever welcome him again.
He said “When I came on stage, I wondered if these people would accept me. I felt really good that you all were so supportive, even after everything that happened.”
“So many things happened. Look, I didn’t start doing stand-up for money or to become famous. After the job I used to do, I got into stand-up because it brought me joy.”
Pranit said if his comedy does not make people happy it hurts him because his objective to do the shows has always been to bring joy to the audience.
