President Murmu attended the 36th convocation of Rani Durgavati University
New Delhi, June 21, 2026: President Draupadi Murmu attended the 36th convocation of Rani Durgavati University and awarded Golden Medals to talented students. Speaking on the occasion, he remarked that Rani Durgavati was a symbol of courage and bravery, and would continue to inspire future generations. The President stressed the importance of education for the empowerment of tribal communities, marginalized classes and girls. He said that the goal of ‘Developed India’ (Developed India) by 2047 will be achieved only when the benefits of development reach every section of the society.
President Murmu was present as the chief guest in the Yoga Day program in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. This program was organized at the Garrison Ground of Sadar area.
President Murmu will also visit Kuno National Park tomorrow. He will meet with the staff responsible for the care of the cheetahs as well as the park staff.
