Prime Minister Netanyahu suddenly admitted to hospital, already suffering from many diseases

Desk. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was admitted to a hospital in Jerusalem on Monday evening. This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office. According to the report, Netanyahu was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. The Prime Minister’s Office said that 76-year-old Netanyahu had reached the hospital for dental treatment. The statement was issued after reports of his being taken to hospital appeared in Hebrew media.

Netanyahu’s health has been a major topic of discussion and controversy in Israel for some time. The opposition and critics have accused him of hiding health-related information from the public. For this reason, there has been continuous speculation in the country regarding his actual health condition.

Last month, Netanyahu shared a lengthy post on social media revealing that he had successfully undergone radiation therapy for a malignant tumor found in his prostate at Hadassah Hospital. However, he did not disclose the dates of diagnosis of the disease, start and end of treatment. Netanyahu had claimed that Iran could have used this information for propaganda against Israel during the recent war, so it was not made public.

His announcement was accompanied by the release of an annual health report and an additional document related to cancer treatment, but it provided very limited information. The report contained only five brief points and did not even clarify which year the medical report belonged to. The documents also did not have the hospital logo or formal medical certification.

Netanyahu’s health problems have continued for the past few years. A pacemaker was implanted in his body in July 2023. He had hernia surgery in March 2024 and prostate removal surgery in December 2024.
