Delhi Minor Rape-Murder Case: The body of the girl was found in a field on September 13 in Swaroop Nagar in North-West district of Delhi. Which the dogs were scratching and eating. Later investigation revealed that the body was that of a minor girl. Due to which first brutality was committed and then murder was done and the dead body was disposed of. In this case, the police have arrested four accused including three minors. Now after this incident, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has raised questions regarding women's safety in the country.

Congress National General Secretary and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi, while targeting the government, said that no one is ready to take responsibility for women's safety in the country – only empty talks are made about the development of women. He wrote on the social media platform Just a few days ago, another minor girl was raped. '
Raising the issue of women's safety, she further said in her post, 'No one in the country is ready to take responsibility for women's safety – only empty talks are made about women's development. Hundreds of women are tortured and subjected to violence, but they cannot expect concrete action to be taken against the criminals – FIRs are not even registered. Both society and government have completely failed to provide women the right to security, freedom and equality.
In Delhi, all limits of cruelty were crossed with a 17 year old girl and after that she was brutally killed. Just a few days ago, another minor girl was raped.

what is the whole matter
On the morning of 13 September, people of Swaroop Nagar in the North-West district informed Delhi Police that dogs were tearing apart a dead body in a nearby field. When the police reached the spot, they were shocked to see a badly decomposed body. One hand of the corpse was chopped off and it was largely eaten up by stray dogs. Investigators said the victim's face was badly mutilated and his body had been stabbed multiple times. The condition of the dead body was so bad that it could not even be identified whether it was male or female. However, medical examination confirmed rape of the victim.
As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that the body was that of a 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly gang-raped and stabbed to death. Then to embalmed the dead body, it was thrown in a field on Kushak Road. Police suspected that the crime may have occurred two days earlier, on Friday, September 11. But, there were no eyewitnesses and the identity of the culprits was not initially known. In such a situation, the police started scanning the footage of more than 50 CCTV cameras installed in that area and the surrounding roads.

Around the time of the incident, a tempo was seen moving near the spot. But, due to darkness, his registration number was not clearly visible, following which investigators tracked his movement at several CCTV locations. Then the police conducted a search operation throughout the night of 15 and 16 September and traced the suspicious tempo. Its driver was identified and questioned. In the subsequent investigation, four people involved in this crime were arrested, including three minors.
The victim's family did not lodge any missing report. According to police, family members said that she would often leave home and return after a few days. The girl knew the four accused (including three minors) and had gone with them in a tempo on the day of the incident. The adult accused has been identified as Shivam alias Sudama alias Chuchu, a resident of Khadda Colony, while the three minors are aged 16 and 17 years.
According to the police, on the evening of September 10, the girl had gone to meet a 17-year-old boy she knew. During this time he became cruel. When the victim threatened to suffer, the accused called his friends. Then three friends, under the influence of alcohol, robbed him of his dignity. On the morning of 11 September, he put the girl in the auto and took her to the fields. Here his body was brutally mutilated with a knife and then an attempt was made to hide the body. Police have registered a case against all the accused under relevant sections of BNS and POCSO Act.
