Organized ‘Vinayaki Sports Festival’ on behalf of ‘Someshwar Foundation’

Pune: Children of different age groups participated in open district level roller skating competition under ‘Vinayaki Krida Mahotsav’ organized by ‘Someshwar Foundation’ on the birth anniversary of former MLA Vinayak Nimhan.The players Won the title on the strength of his brilliant performance. In this, Ridhan Singh, Ashvi Nagda, Swanand Das, Dhyanam Trivedi, Dhanvi Pathak, Shruvi Dudhane and Ahira Khilare achieved success by securing top positions in their respective groups.

The competition was held in the ‘Perry Dot Hall’ at ‘Sunny’s World’ on Pashan-Sus road. Ridhan Singh of ‘Champion Skating Club’ won the first place in the under 6 special children’s quad category in this competition. Ridhan is studying in Senior KG (Senior KG) at Pawar Public School. So, Ashvi Nagda of ‘Panthers Club’ won the first place in the girls’ category of the same age group. Ashvi is studying in Senior Kindergarten at Euro School.

Winning players in various categories

Swanand Das of ‘RD Extreme Club’ won the Kumar category for special boys, while Krish Suryavanshi of ‘Champion’ won the inline category. Dhyanam Trivedi of ‘Yuvraj Sports Club’ won the title in recreational inline category. Dhyanam is studying in Junior Kindergarten (Junior KG) at Sadhu Vaswani School.Dhanvi Pathak of ‘RD Extreme Club’ won first place in special girls category. While, Shruvi Dudhana bagged the top position in the professional inline category.

Shruvi is studying in Senior Kindergarten at Sanskriti School. Ahira Khilare of ‘The Wheels Club’ won first place in the recreational inline category. Ahira is studying in Cambridge International School in Senior Kindergarten. Also, Kanav Srivastava of ‘LXT’ sealed the title in the quad category in boys category under 12 to 15 years, while Saiswara Reva of ‘Champions’ bagged the title in the girls category.

Inauguration of the tournament by veterans

The competition was inaugurated by Rajendra Jadhav (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Retired), Secretary of ‘Skating Association of Maharashtra’ and National Police Medalist. On this occasion, competition coordinator Abhijit Mohite, Narendra Jadhav, Chief Referee and Shiv Chhatrapati Award winner Ashok Gunjal, international coach Pushkar Kulkarni, ‘Whale 360’ Dr. Monica Surve and Dr. Many dignitaries were present including Uttara Abhyankar.
