Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Nanakmatta under 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', donated labor in cleanliness campaign

Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday participated in the cleanliness program organized in the Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib complex under 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' and donated labor. By cleaning himself, he gave the message to the people to make cleanliness a part of lifestyle.

Earlier, the CM paid obeisance at Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state. Saropa and memento were presented to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Gurdwara Management Committee.

Regular cleaning of public places is necessary

Chief Minister Dhami said that along with maintaining the sanctity of religious places, it is the collective responsibility of all of us to keep our surroundings clean. He said that Uttarakhand is an important state from religious and tourism point of view and a large number of devotees and tourists come here from India and abroad. In such a situation, continuous efforts should be made to maintain cleanliness at religious and tourist places as well as at bus stands, railway stations, hospitals, government offices and other public places.

Society joining Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication towards public service, the Chief Minister said that under his leadership the spirit of service, cleanliness and public participation has gained new strength. He said that under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' started in the state from the Prime Minister's birthday, September 17, various programs related to service, public participation, dialogue and innovation are being organized. In this sequence, a cleanliness program was organized in the Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib premises.

Call to make cleanliness a mass movement

The Chief Minister said that cleanliness should not be limited to any one campaign or program. Taking this forward through continuous public participation, every citizen should contribute in keeping the area around him clean.

On this occasion, District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, BJP District President Kamal Jindal, Nagar Panchayat President Prem Singh Turna, former MLA Prem Singh Rana, Gurdwara Management Committee Chairman Sardar Jogendra Singh, General Secretary Sardar Amarjit Singh Boprai, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, SSP Ajay Ganpati, Chief Development Officer Divesh Shashani along with officials of the Gurdwara Management Committee, public representatives and devotees were present.
