Russia Ukraine War : : The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has once again reached a very dangerous point. After the warning from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin has given a strong response. Russia has attacked many areas of Ukraine including the capital Kiev with missiles and drones.
On Tuesday, Zelensky warned foreign airlines, insurance companies and governments that Ukraine’s long-range drone campaign could increase the threat to civilian flights over the country, saying the days of safe days in Russia’s skies were over.
Huge explosion in Kyiv
After Zelensky’s statement, Russia attacked Kiev and Odessa with missiles and drones. A loud explosion was heard in the capital Kyiv on Wednesday.
According to the Mayor of Kiev, a six-storey residential building caught fire due to a drone strike in the Shevchenkivsky district. Emergency services were sent to the spot after the incident. At the same time, Russia targeted energy infrastructure and power grid in Odessa. After the attacks, explosions were heard in many cities of Ukraine and the sky was filled with smoke.
Putin said – there is no dialogue with terrorists
Responding to Zelensky’s threat, Putin said that if such a thing is said openly, it is a step towards state-sponsored terrorism. Putin was questioned on Zelensky’s statement in a press conference on Tuesday during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Kyrgyzstan. He said that on one hand Kiev talks about talks and face-to-face meetings, but on the other hand such threats are being made.
Putin said that there is no dialogue with terrorists, and he also warned that if any tragic incident occurs due to Kiev’s threats, Moscow will find a way to respond to it.
There was a long attack even before this
Earlier, on the night and morning of 1-2 September, Russia had attacked Kiev and surrounding areas for more than 12 hours. At least 12 people died and many were injured. Children were also included among the injured.
