It is a new concept and marks the beginning of the next phase of growth for the company. Designed specifically for smaller cities in India, PVR INOX Smart Cinema combines the unique experience of PVR INOX with an innovative and low-capital expansion model, making world-class cinema accessible to audiences in India’s fast-growing cities.

To respond to this change, PVR INOX Smart Cinema has been created to deliver a premium cinema experience tailored to the needs and preferences of these rapidly changing cities.
World-class cinemas are opening rapidly
This new concept will be implemented primarily through the FOCO model, which will enable PVR INOX to rapidly launch world-class cinemas in partnership with developers and entrepreneurs in India. PVR INOX has signed six more PVR INOX Smart Cinema locations to launch in the next nine months, while discussions are underway with developers in several other fast-growing cities. Each PVR INOX Smart Cinema will offer the unique PVR INOX experience with 2K laser projection, 7.1 surround sound, specially curated food, clean theatres and a safe and welcoming environment, all in a modern and affordable format for audiences in India’s fast-growing cities.
Organizing a special seminar
The announcement was followed by a special panel discussion on the vision behind PVR INOX Smart Cinemas and the future of film screening in non-metropolitan cities in India.
