Recently, Ashwin was recording a video at his home with sports journalist Vimal Kumar regarding the India-Sri Lanka Test series. Meanwhile, suddenly the police arrived outside his house, after which he had to stop his recording midway.

Actually, former Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was recording a video in his home for the India vs Sri Lanka Test series, in which he was joined by sports journalist Vimal Kumar. Meanwhile, a call came on Ashwin’s phone from his security person. After this, calls from his wife also kept coming, but he ignored both the calls. When he picked up the call after disconnecting the call 3-4 times, he came to know that the police had come outside his house.

Why did the police come?
The reason for the police coming to Ashwin’s house was that he had given his passport for visa. The police came to his house for verification and left after giving him the passport. However, later he completed his recording and while mentioning it, Vimal Kumar asked him why the police had come to your house? In fun, Vimal also asked Ashwin what he had done that the police had to come to his house.

What did Ashwin say?
Answering Vimal’s question, Ashwin said, ‘My house security called me three-four times. He doesn’t call that much. My wife also called me. Then I disconnected the call and asked what happened? He told me the police were at the door. Ashwin told that he had given his passport for visa, so he had come to return the passport.
