R. Praggnanande becomes the first Indian to win the title of Norway Chess 2026 Gujarati

New Delhi, 6 June 2026: India’s 18 year old extremely talented young Grandmaster R. Praggnanande has created a new history in the world of chess. By winning the title of ‘Norway Chess 2026’, which is considered to be the world’s most prestigious and prestigious tournament, he has become the first Indian player to win this title. No Indian chess player has been able to achieve this feat before.

In the final and decisive stage of the tournament, Praggnanandha faced the strong Grandmaster Vincent Kaymer of Germany.
