Rahul Gandhi: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi interacted with students at the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' program organized in Indore. On this occasion, he appealed to the students to maintain the habit of asking questions. Rahul Gandhi said that 'the system does not want students, it wants blind devotees'.
Students are curious and do not immediately accept everything as told. They want to know why something happens, what is the reason behind it. That is why students ask questions and the system is afraid of such questions, said Rahul Gandhi.
On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi also raised questions on the functioning of Election Commission and other institutions. He said that students should ask if the institutions are working properly. He also explained that instead of accepting anything blindly, students should think about it and present their position.

Rahul Gandhi used the word 'andhabhakt' to comment on the mentality of accepting everything without question. Linking the thoughts of students with love, respect and humility, he said that students listen to others, ask questions and present their side. At the same time, he also mentioned hatred, arrogance and fear.
The issue of paperwork and unemployment
Talking about the problems of students, Rahul Gandhi brought up the issue of paper leakage and unemployment. Students ask questions like what is the condition of schools and colleges, why papers are torn and why youth are not getting employment. Therefore, the side of the students should be heard, he said.
Problems raised by students
In 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' programme, students also presented their problems to Rahul Gandhi. The students raised issues like health facilities in tribal areas, forest belts, vacancies and state of government hostels.
A student claimed that students who raise issues are being harassed. The issue of government recruitment and paperwork was also raised on this occasion. Some students claimed that students who ask questions about recruitment are booked and have to go to jail.
A student also raised issues related to university admissions and examinations. He complained of not being admitted to Masters course despite his merit. Hence, the issues of students related to education, employment and government recruitment remained at the center of the programme.
