Raids in Delhi, Sandeep Pathak came out from the back door! Politics heated up on FIR

Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, who recently separated from the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, is embroiled in a new controversy. According to the information, Punjab Police has registered two separate FIRs against him. Sources claim that non-bailable sections have been imposed in these cases. However, detailed details of these allegations have not been made public yet.

Video viral on social media

The matter gained momentum when the news came to light that a team of Punjab Police reached his official residence in Delhi with the aim of arresting him. It is being told that during this time Sandeep Pathak was seen leaving the house from the back side. A video of this alleged incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, due to which there has been a stir in political circles.

However, Sandeep Pathak has expressed ignorance of all these allegations and the news of the FIR. He clearly said that he was not aware of any such action nor has any police officer contacted him till now. He said in his statement that he has always served the country with honesty and devotion. According to him, the country is bigger than any political party and they will never take any step against the national interest. He also indicated that if such action was being taken against him, it could be a result of political pressure or fear.

Resigned from AAP on 24 April

This development has come to light when Sandeep Pathak has recently left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP. He is among the seven Rajya Sabha MPs who resigned from the party on April 24. These leaders had alleged that the party has deviated from its basic principles and ideals. Names like Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, Harbhajan Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Vikramjit Sahni and Swati Maliwal were also included in this group. Most of these members are associated with Punjab.

After this political development, the position of Aam Aadmi Party in Rajya Sabha has also weakened. Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan gave formal approval to these MPs joining BJP, after which the number of AAP members in the Upper House has reduced to only three.
