Rain in Punjab-Haryana, heat wave in Rajasthan, weather condition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari

The period of storm and rain is going to start once again across the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature is likely to remain below normal for the next several days. And people can get relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be thunderstorms tomorrow in Uttarakhand including Delhi-NCR, UP, Punjab, Haryana and Bihar. Along with this, snowfall may start in the hilly states today i.e. on 11th May. Heat wave alert has also been issued in some states.

The weather in Delhi has been pleasant since morning. The sky is cloudy and the weather department has predicted that the sky will remain cloudy the whole day. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the national capital today. Along with this, heavy rain may also be seen in some areas.

Weather in UP-Bihar

After a spell of heat in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, there is a possibility of rain again. The Meteorological Department has warned of thunderstorms as well as lightning in many cities of UP on May 11. According to the Meteorological Department, today there may be cloud cover in many areas including Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut, Bareilly, Prayagraj and Varanasi. According to the Meteorological Department, movement of clouds will start from western Uttar Pradesh to central, Bundelkhand and eastern parts and rain will reduce the temperature by several degrees Celsius.

If we talk about Bihar adjacent to UP, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar also. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many parts of Bihar today. The districts where there is a possibility of rain include Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger Banka and Jamui. Along with rain, there is also a possibility of lightning in these districts.

Today the weather will be bad in the hilly states of North India. The Meteorological Department has advised the devotees going for Chardham Yatra to be cautious tomorrow. Apart from this, snowfall alert has also been issued at high altitude places. Talking about Himachal Pradesh, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Himachal today. Along with this, there is also a possibility of wind blowing at high speed and lightning. Yellow alert has been issued in Kullu, Mandi, Kangra and Shimla districts. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Kashmir valley also.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heat wave in Gujarat also today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of torrential rain over most parts of South India, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Weather in Northeast

The effect of heat has not been visible yet in North-East India. Today, there is a possibility of rain along with storm at a speed of 60-70 kilometers per hour in most of the northeastern states. An alert of heavy rain has also been issued over parts of West Bengal and Jharkhand including Assam, Arunachal, Sikkim, Odisha and Nagaland.
