Rajnath Singh said, terrorists and their patrons sitting in Pakistan have been destroyed.

In Pahalgam, our innocent citizens were subjected to a cowardly terrorist attack after being asked about their religion. Following this, our forces launched Operation Sindoor. We destroyed the terrorists and their patrons based in Pakistan and demonstrated to the world that India will go to any lengths to protect its citizens, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Sunday.

He said, “Through Operation Sindoor, we told the world that we are willing to go to any lengths to protect the sindoor of our women power.” Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made these remarks on Sunday at the Army Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment, where a special blood donation camp was organized.

The Defense Minister explained that the name of this blood donation campaign is also quite remarkable: the “Sindoor Maharaktdaan Yatra.” The name itself is symbolic. Rajnath Singh said, “The occasion for which we have all gathered is the Maha Raktdaan Yatra. And it is special because it is an occasion associated with humanity, compassion, and patriotism.

We have always called blood donation the gift of life or the greatest donation. Blood cannot be manufactured in a factory or created in a laboratory. It is produced only within a healthy human body, and only one human can give it to another. This is what makes blood donation the most important of all donations.

He said that hundreds of our brave athletes from Sangli will donate their blood here. This will serve as a protective shield and a reliable reservoir for future soldiers and their families in need.

He told the players that while you are all athletes, your physical abilities are your hallmark. But today you have demonstrated a power even greater than this physical ability. Today you have demonstrated the power of compassion.

In fact, athletes and others participating in this event are dedicating a massive blood donation pool of 1,000 units. This blood donation is a pledge for every Indian Army soldier and their family that the nation will stand by them whenever they need it. The Defense Minister said that there could be no greater service to the nation than this.

Rajnath Singh said, “I would urge all citizens, especially our young friends, to make blood donation not just an event, but a culture. In 2047, when India celebrates its centenary of independence, our dream should not only be a developed economy, but also a sensitive society where everyone is healthy and safe.”

He explained that our Prime Minister has given the country a vision for staying healthy through Khelo India and FIT. All of us, especially the youth, should follow his example. Because the fitter we are, the more we will be an asset to society, and only then will we be able to perform such noble deeds as blood donation.
