In this way, the worldwide advance booking of the film, including the earnings of India and abroad, has crossed Rs 150 crore.
Ticket sales increased when the dispute ended
There were some problems in the advance booking of the film in the beginning. Actually, there was a dispute going on between distributors and theater owners regarding revenue sharing. Due to this, there was a delay in starting booking in many theatres. However, after the dispute was resolved, more screens and shows were opened, which directly benefited the film's ticket sales. There was a rapid increase in advance booking in the last days.
The Hindi version has the biggest contribution in the domestic advance booking of the film. The share of Hindi version in the total domestic advance booking is said to be around three-fourths. Apart from this, Kannada and Telugu versions are also getting good response. Especially there is a lot of curiosity among the audience about Yash being seen in the role of Ravana.

The film's success in foreign countries also
Foreign markets have also played a major role in taking the worldwide advance booking of 'Ramayana' beyond Rs 150 crore. Pre-sales of the film in foreign countries have reached about 5.6 million dollars. North America has an important contribution in this. The film's massive release and the presence of stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash have increased the curiosity among foreign audiences as well. The special thing is that this film based on the Indian epic is getting good response outside India also. Before the November 5 release in India, paid previews have also been held in North America, which has increased the film's earnings.
Also great in PVR, Inox and Cinepolis
The ticket sales of the film have also been quite good in the country's big multiplex chains PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. A total advance booking of Rs 45.76 crore has been recorded for the opening weekend in these three theatres. This also includes blocked seats. How much can 'Ramayan' earn on opening day?
Looking at the advance booking figures of the film, now everyone's eyes are on its first day box office collection. According to trade estimates, the film can earn Rs 75 to 100 crore on the first day in India. At the same time, in some big estimates, its worldwide opening is being said to be Rs 160 to 175 crores. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has estimated the worldwide opening of the film to be around Rs 175 crore. He believes that if the audience response is good then the film can also touch the figure of Rs 200 crore.
However, in this case, it will not be easy to break the record of 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge'. The film had collected around Rs 236.63 crore worldwide on the first day including paid previews. At the same time, its first day net collection in India was Rs 102.55 crore.
In terms of advance booking, 'Ramayana' has left behind many big films like 'Pathan', 'Jawaan', 'Animal' and 'Adipurush'. However, it still has not been able to surpass 'Dhurandhar 2'. Even excluding paid previews, 'Dhurandhar 2' had sold tickets worth more than Rs 50 crore in advance booking on the opening day. The actual earnings of the film will be determined by walk-in tickets, additional shows, number of viewers in theaters and reviews of the initial show.
Will the film be able to hold the box office till Diwali?
It will not be enough for 'Ramayana' to earn big money on the opening day. The film will have to attract audiences to theaters for a long time. This is a two-part film and its second part is expected to be released in Diwali 2028.

In such a situation, the performance of the film during the first weekend and Diwali holidays is going to be very important.
