‘Rang Rasiya’ surrounded by bold content and religious controversies, release stuck for six years, then reached theaters again

New Delhi . In the history of Indian cinema, there have been many films which had to face controversies due to their story or presentation. Such films include the period drama ‘Rang Rasiya’ starring Randeep Hooda, whose release was postponed for almost six years due to censor related hurdles and continuous protests. After a long wait, after the necessary formalities were completed, ‘Rang Rasiya’ was released in theaters in the year 2014. However, despite the delay in release, the film attracted the attention of audiences and critics due to its theme and presentation. Randeep Hooda’s performance was particularly appreciated, as he portrayed a complex and sensitive character effectively on screen.

Actress Nandana Sen also appeared in an important role in the film. Many scenes filmed between the two actors were already a topic of discussion.
