Vikram Kochhar praises Ranveer Singh’s performance in ‘Dhurandhar’ in recent conversation

Vikram Kochhar recently opened up about the definition of “stardom” while praising Ranveer Singh’s performance in Dhurandhar.

The 42-year-old actor, who earned widespread acclaim for playing Buggu in the 2023 film Dunkrevealed that star culture is not disappearing from the industry anytime soon.

In an exclusive conversation with IANSKochhar brought the Padmaavat star into the discussion while sharing his perspective on stardom.

Speaking to the outlet, he said, “Such superstars will continue to emerge in the industry. Ranveer has since re-established the definition and statistics of stardom with Dhurandhar.”

It is pertinent to mention that Dhurandhar emerged as a historic blockbuster, grossing ₹3000 crore worldwide.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the action-crime thriller also featured Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor, and several others in supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Vikram made his acting debut with a supporting role in Increase Electricity To Mandolafollowed by Ghanchakkar, both of which were released in 2013.

For the unversed, Kochhar was recently honoured with the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the Bright OTT & Style Awards 2026 for his commendable contribution to the industry.
