Ravi Kishan has found himself at the centre of a new kind of internet fame. The actor-politician, known for his energetic screen presence and distinctive public persona, has recently become a favourite subject for meme-makers. And while the internet continues to turn his expressions and moments into viral reels, his daughter Rivva Kishan is enjoying the phenomenon too. Speaking on a podcast with Filmygyan, Rivva said her family actively follows the memes and even sends them to one another.
“I love it. I am proud. We cherish it, celebrate it, and we laugh,” she said. According to Rivva, the memes have become a regular part of their family conversations, with the father-daughter duo often sharing reels and discussing them.
Rivva Kishan On Ravi Kishan’s Meme Fame
Rather than being embarrassed by the attention, Rivva sees it as an extension of her father’s long journey in entertainment. She said she often looks through social media to find the “creativity” behind the memes, adding that the family sees them as a reflection of how hard Ravi Kishan has worked over the years.
The actor has built a career spanning Bhojpuri cinema, Hindi films and television, while also establishing himself as a politician and Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur.
Ravi Kishan’s Daughter On Nepotism And Her Debut
Rivva also addressed the nepotism debate surrounding her own career. The actor made her Bollywood debut with Sab Kushal Mangal in 2020, alongside Akshaye Khanna, but the film did not perform as expected. Rivva admitted that she had more to learn at the time and said she was not as prepared as she is today.
“No one is born with skills, you learn, explore, and then you figure it out,” she said, adding that she remains proud of the film despite its outcome. She also revealed the advice she has received from her father: stay authentic, work hard and build an identity of her own.
Why Ravi Kishan Left ‘Alliance’
Ravi Kishan and Rivva recently appeared together on the reality show Alliance. However, the actor-politician exited the Kunal Kemmu-hosted show just five days after entering, citing his responsibilities as an MP and what he described as his “national duty”.
