She brought the prince into her home and cared for him as her own son.
Some time later, the Brahmin woman met a saint. The saint explained to her the importance of the Pradosh fast. He said that worshipping Lord Shiva with devotion and observing the Pradosh fast could alleviate life’s troubles. Impressed by the saint’s words, the Brahmin woman, along with her son and the prince, began observing the Pradosh fast regularly.
