The lineup includes an official race T-shirt for all participants, a sleeveless singlet for runners in the 21km and 42km events, and two finisher shirts for athletes who complete the half marathon and full marathon.
Inspired by the turquoise waters and coral reefs of Nha Trang Bay, the shirts feature a mint-green base accented by alternating thick and thin vertical stripes on the left side. According to the organizers, the design is intended to evoke sunlight filtering through the sea, coral reefs and ocean waves. The T-shirt version features dark purple sleeves with a subtle diagonal pattern that contrasts with the main body of the shirt.
A distinctive element on the back of both race shirts is the word “NHA TRANG,” printed vertically down the center. Each letter appears in a different color, including blue, pink, yellow and purple.
The finisher shirts use the same Memphis-inspired design but feature a black base color, allowing the geometric patterns and bright color blocks to stand out more prominently.
The 21km finisher shirt has magenta sleeves and multicolored “FINISHER 21KM” lettering on the back, while the 42km version features neon green sleeves and white “FINISHER 42KM” text.
Originally developed in Milan in 1981, the Memphis Design movement is known for its bright colors, geometric shapes and contrasting patterns.
According to the organizers, all four shirts are made from 110 GSM Poly Mesh fabric with four-way stretch fibers, moisture-wicking construction, Flatlock seams to reduce chafing, and features including odor resistance and basic UV protection.
The organizers said the shirt designs received positive engagement on the event’s official Facebook page, where many runners commented on the designs and asked about race kit collection.
Read Marathon Nha Trang 2026 will be held on Aug. 9 at April 2 Square, offering four race distances: 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km.
The event is expected to attract around 9,000 runners. Registration is currently in the late-entry phase through Aug. 2, with entry fees of VND850,000 (US$32.34) for the 5km race, VND1.1 million for 10km, VND1.35 million for 21km, and VND1.55 million for 42km.
Finishers will receive a medal, an official race shirt and complimentary race photos. Registration is available through the event’s official website
