Recruitment for 1265 clerk posts in Punjab-Haryana HC
Punjab and Haryana High Court has invited applications for 1265 clerk posts. Graduate candidates will be able to apply online through SSSC Official Recruitment Portal from 26 May to 23 June 2026. Selection will be based on CBT and Computer Proficiency Test.
New Delhi: Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a big recruitment notification for clerk posts for the youth preparing for government jobs. A total of 1265 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Eligible candidates will be able to participate in the online application process from 26 May 2026.

According to the notification issued by Punjab and Haryana High Court, the application process for clerk recruitment will start from 26 May 2026. Interested candidates will be able to apply through online mode till 23 June 2026.
Applications for recruitment will be accepted only through the official website. Forms sent offline or through any other means will not be valid.
What is the qualification and age limit?
To apply for clerk posts, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university. Also, the candidate must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subject in 10th, or must have taken Hindi subject at 12th, BA or MA level.
Candidates are also required to have computer proficiency, especially knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets. As on January 1, 2026, the minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 42 years. Reserved categories will get relaxation as per rules.
Application Fee and Selection Process
The application fee for SC, BC, EWS and ESM category candidates of Haryana state has been kept at Rs 710. Male candidates of other categories will have to pay Rs 1200 and female candidates will have to pay Rs 875. PwBD category candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted first in the recruitment process. In this, successful candidates will be called for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The final selection list will be prepared based on the performance in both the stages.
