Peace Committee meeting in Dhanrua police station regarding Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid).

Dhanrua. A peace committee meeting was organized in the Dhanrua police station premises to ensure that the festival of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid), to be celebrated on 27th and 28th May, is celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The meeting was jointly presided over by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (DSP) Punpun Kanhaiya Kumar and Dhanrua Police Station Head Amit Kumar.

In the meeting, the officials appealed to the public representatives and common people present to celebrate the festival with mutual brotherhood and harmony. Officials said that like every year, this year too the administration is fully alert and prepared to conduct Bakrid festival in a peaceful environment in the district.
The DSP said that the administration will keep a close watch on those spreading any kind of rumour, anti-social activity or communal tension.

Sensitive and hypersensitive areas of the district will be identified and adequate number of magistrates, police officers and police forces will be deputed there. Apart from this, the administration will also continuously monitor the misleading photos, fake videos and posts spreading rumors on social media. A large number of distinguished citizens including ward councilor, councilor representative, Panchayat committee member Pappu Khan, Yogendra Chandravanshi, Ashok Rajk, Mukhiya representative, social workers Dhananjay Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav, Prem Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Anil Kumar and Upendra Mukhiya were present in the meeting.
