Lucknow. There’s good news for young people preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has begun the recruitment process for the main examination for a total of 1,829 Auditor and Assistant Accountant positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by the deadline.

This recruitment drive will fill a total of 1,829 Auditor and Assistant Accountant positions. Selected candidates will be appointed to various government departments as needed.
Who can apply?
Candidates who have appeared in the UPSSSC PET-2025 exam and received their PET-2025 scorecard issued by the Commission will be eligible to apply. Candidates must also meet the educational qualifications and other eligibility requirements specified in the recruitment advertisement.
Application Dates
The online application process began on July 14, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications and fees is August 3, 2026. Application amendments or fee adjustments can be made until August 10, 2026. Therefore, candidates should complete their applications in time without waiting for the deadline.
What will be the selection process?
Candidates will be selected based on a main written examination. The exam will be OMR-based, consisting of 100 objective-type questions. The exam will carry a total of 100 marks and will be completed in 120 minutes. Negative marking of one-quarter marks will also apply for incorrect answers.
How much salary will you get?
Candidates selected in this recruitment will generally receive a salary of ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 under the Level-5 pay scale. However, the final salary will be determined according to the regulations set for the respective department and position.
