Redmi Note 17 Pro Series Launch Date: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced the launch date of its new Redmi Note 17 Pro Series in India. According to the company, the new smartphone series will be launched in the Indian market on September 15. This lineup is expected to include two models – Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The company has also shared information about the phone’s design, color options and some key features before the launch. The special thing is that the series is going to get a big battery of up to 10,000mAh.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Series will be launched in India on September 15
The official microsite of Redmi Note 17 Pro Series has been updated, confirming the September 15 launch date of the phone. However, the company has not yet clearly disclosed the names of both the smartphones. It is believed that Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max can be introduced in the series.
Redmi recently started teasing the new Note Series. This time the company can bring its new model with Max branding, as is also seen in its global portfolio.
Battery up to 10,000mAh will be available
The biggest feature of the new Redmi Note 17 Pro Series will be its battery. According to the company, the phone will be provided with a battery of up to 10,000mAh. Redmi has teased it with the tagline “mAhster of strength”. According to the company’s internal lab test, under light usage conditions the phone can last more than four days on a single charge. However, actual battery backup will depend on usage patterns and other circumstances.
Design of Redmi Note 17 Pro and Pro Max
In the teaser, Redmi Note 17 Pro is shown in blue color. There is a flat panel at the back of the phone and a square shaped camera module is visible in the upper right part. Both phones are expected to have dual rear camera setup. Similarly, a similar camera module has been given in Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. It has been confirmed to have a 50-megapixel primary camera and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Power button and volume rocker will be given on the right side of both the phones.
Will be sold on Amazon
Both the smartphones of Redmi Note 17 Pro Series will be available for sale through Amazon after their launch in India. The company has not yet disclosed the Indian price and sale date of the phone.
Possible specifications of Redmi Note 17 Pro Max
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max was launched in select global markets last month. There its starting price was kept at JPY 79,980 (approximately ₹ 47,900). This price was for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The phone has Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, with which 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage is available. Talking about camera setup, it has a 50 megapixel main rear camera and 8 megapixel ultrawide camera.
