Mirzapur. The news published in daily newspapers regarding the bad road connecting Dalapatti-Kamasin to Cheelh of Kon development block has had a big impact. Taking cognizance of the news, the concerned department has started immediate action and repair work has started on the road.
Let us tell you that due to the very bad condition of this road, villagers and pedestrians were facing a lot of problems. The road was broken at many places and turned into potholes. The villagers had appealed to the public representatives regarding this. After the news was published, the Public Works Department (PWD) came into action and started filling and repairing the potholes by deploying JCBs and laborers on the road.
Local people and passers-by have heaved a sigh of relief as work on the road has started. Kon Block resident Hero Kumar Paswan and social worker Monu Singh said that the speed with which the administration has taken cognizance after the news came in the media is commendable. He has expressed gratitude to the concerned department, public representatives and media and demanded that the road should be permanently constructed in a quality manner so that this problem does not arise again in future.
