Protests against the Pakistan government are continuously intensifying in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). On Tuesday, thousands of people continued their protest for the 22nd day at Idgah Ground in Rawalakot. The protesters made serious allegations against the Pakistan government and said that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir should no longer be considered a part of Pakistan. He warned that if the ban on supply of food items and other essential commodities is not lifted, the people of the region may be forced to seek aid from India.
The movement has been going on for 22 days
This movement going on in Rawalakot has been going on continuously for the last 22 days. The protesters have come out on the streets against the policies of the Pakistan government, economic crisis, inflation, administrative neglect and alleged oppressive attitude.
The movement was led by local social workers and human rights activists. Sardar Aman Khan Are doing. Under his leadership, a large number of people are openly raising their voice against the Pakistan government.
Anger increased due to ban on food supply
The protesters allege that the Pakistan administration has banned the supply of food items and other essential commodities to the area for almost two weeks. Apart from this, internet services have also been stopped from June 5, due to which people have almost completely lost contact with the outside world.
Local people say that the purpose of shutting down the internet is to prevent information about the movement from going out and to suppress the protest.
‘PoK is not a part of Pakistan’
During the demonstration, Sardar Aman Khan said in his address that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is not a part of Pakistan and Pakistan needs this region more, whereas the dependence of the people here on Pakistan is continuously decreasing.
He said that if the Pakistan government continues to ignore the basic needs of the people, people will be forced to look for alternative ways.
Warning to seek help from India
During the demonstration, Sardar Aman Khan said that if the ban on supply of food grains, medicines and other essential commodities continues, then the people of the region may also choose to seek help from India.
He claimed that if this happens, the political situation of the entire region may change and this will increase pressure on the Islamabad government at the international level.
Slogans also raised against Pakistani Army
In several videos that have surfaced on social media, protesters have been shown the name of Pakistan Army Chief General. Asim Munir Were seen raising slogans against. The protesters said that they would not accept any form of dictatorship.
Many people also publicly said that the voice of the people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is being continuously suppressed and their democratic demands are being ignored.
Protest continues near LOC also
According to reports, a separate protest is also going on near the Line of Control (LoC) since June 9. There also a large number of people are protesting against the Pakistan government.
The protesters say that the agitation will continue until their political and administrative demands are met.
Demonstrations are taking place in foreign countries also
This movement is no longer limited to Pakistan occupied Kashmir only. People and supporters of PoK living abroad have also started demonstrations outside Pakistan’s embassies in many countries.
The protesters say they want to draw the international community’s attention to alleged human rights violations and administrative repression in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Economic crisis became a big reason
According to local people, continuously increasing inflation, unemployment, power crisis and lack of basic facilities have increased the problems of the people. The protesters are accusing the Pakistan government of ignoring the development of the area.
