India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant set a new record during the second day of the SL vs IND second Test match on Monday. The 28-year-old became the India wicketkeeper-batter with the most runs in away Tests. Pant scored 63 runs, which came off 89 balls with two sixes and eight boundaries.
He went past former India skipper MS Dhoniwho scored 2496 runs in away Tests. The young southpaw has now amassed 2534 runs in overseas red-ball games.
