Desk: After giving blockbuster films like Bahubali and RRR, director SS Rajamouli is busy these days with his next film 'Varanasi'. Big stars like Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, global star Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran are going to be seen in important roles in this film. The film will be released next year, but already a huge buzz is being seen about it. Now Rajamouli's son SS Karthikeya has talked about the action sequences of the film. He said that the action of 'Varanasi' is going to be explosive.
Recently, during a conversation, Karthikeya told about the action of the film. In fact, from the 100th Oscar Awards, the Academy is also going to start an award category for stunt design. This award will start being given from 2028. 'Varanasi' is coming in 2027. Regarding this, he was asked whether 'Varanasi' can get nomination in this category at Oscars?
Karthikeya said on the action of the film, “The stunts are such that they will blow your mind. This will be a completely different kind of action, it will not be like what you have seen in RRR or Baahubali. This will be a completely different kind of action, but you will be surprised while watching every sequence. So, let's see.
Earlier, while talking to Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas in 'Hey Jonas' podcast, Priyanka Chopra also talked about the action scenes of 'Varanasi'. She had said, “I have been working on this film for 14 months. But SS Rajamouli is known for taking his time to make a film. He called me for this film, and it is a tremendous adventure that takes place across the world and in different time periods. It has taken some time, but I am very excited about it. I have done many amazing slow-motion jumps in it. That's all I can say about it.”
Work on the film has been going on for a long time, but important information related to it has been kept hidden. In the film, Mahesh Babu will be seen in the role of Rudra, Priyanka Chopra Mandakini and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in the role of Kumbh. This film will be released in theaters on April 7 next year.
