‘Sack Dharmendra Pradhan or take responsibility for PM himself’ Rahul Gandhi’s demand

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately dismiss Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan or accept responsibility himself regarding the matter related to alleged irregularities in the medical entrance examination ‘NEET-UG’. He also alleged that this case is a case of ‘collusion to make money’ between Bharatiya Janata Party, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and people associated with them sitting in various institutions.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha posted a video on ‘X’ and said, ’22 lakh NEET students have been cheated. But Modi ji is not saying even a single word. Remove Dharmendra Pradhan ji now, or take responsibility yourself. Rahul Gandhi said in the video that 22 lakh students worked hard for two years and all their hard work was wasted.

Paper distributed on WhatsApp

He said, ‘The entire country knows that the NEET paper was distributed on WhatsApp two days before the exam. The country’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says that he has nothing to do with this matter. Rahul Gandhi claimed that Pradhan threw the recommendations of the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Education in the dustbin and said that people from the opposition are sitting in this committee, hence these recommendations have no meaning.

What is required to become the Vice Chancellor of a university?

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘The whole country knows that if you want to become the Vice Chancellor of a university, then you do not need to have knowledge and experience of the subject. If you are associated with RSS, you can become the Vice Chancellor, but if your ideology is not of RSS, then you cannot become the Vice Chancellor.

The former Congress president claimed that papers of different examinations have been leaked 80 times in the last few years. He said that the Prime Minister should dismiss his Education Minister and give instructions that the culprits in the NEET paper leak case should be given the harshest punishment.

‘Modi ji, please discuss the exam leak’

Earlier, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that now the Prime Minister should break his silence and ‘discuss the exam-leak’. Kharge said, ‘Modi ji, please discuss the exam leak, nothing will be achieved by remaining silent.’ Referring to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also claimed that by refusing to accept the recommendations of the committee, the Minister had rejected the multi-party traditions of Parliament.

Ramesh said, ‘The Prime Minister proudly publicises his annual Pariksha Pe Charcha programme. But today the need of the hour is examination review. The Education Minister does not appear suitable for this responsibility.
