Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared some amusing memories of their relationship during their appearance on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Showwith Saif joking that he could have saved a lot of money if Kareena had accepted his marriage proposal the first time.
During the show, Kareena told host Kapil Sharma that she agreed to marry Saif only after he proposed to her three times, at different locations in Mumbai, Greece and Paris.
“He proposed to me in Mumbai, he proposed to me in Greece, and he proposed to me in Paris, and that's when I finally said 'Yes',” Kareena said.
Reacting to her revelation with his trademark humour, Saif quipped, “If you would have just said yes in Mumbai, I would have saved a lot of money.”
The couple marked 14 years of marriage on Friday, celebrating the occasion with heartfelt social media posts featuring romantic photographs and family memories.
Kareena shared several pictures with Saif on her official social media account. One photograph showed the actor relaxing on a yacht, while another set of images featured unseen memories from their time working together on the drama Kurbaan.
“Another year around the sun…Forever to go,” Kareena captioned her anniversary post.
Saif, who recently made his Instagram debut, also shared a series of photographs to mark the occasion. One picture showed him dressed in a white tuxedo jacket, a white shirt and black trousers.
“Almost perfect, but something is missing…,” he wrote alongside the post.
Another photograph featured Kareena looking stunning in a blue gown with a thigh-high slit. The post also included a family picture of Saif and Kareena with their sons, Taimur and Jeh, sitting together on the floor of their home, with a decorated Christmas tree in the background.
