Lucknow. Relief news has emerged for the outsourced employees of Invest UP in Uttar Pradesh. A proposal has been prepared to increase the monthly honorarium of employees by 20 to 60 percent. It has been placed before the steering committee for approval. The new rates can be implemented after the proposal gets the green signal.
Preparation to provide benefit of increased salary from January 2026
According to the proposal, there is a plan to give the benefit of increased honorarium to the employees from January 2026. If this happens, eligible employees can also get the outstanding amount i.e. arrears. However, the final decision will be clear only after the approval of the committee and official order.
By how much can the honorarium increase for which post?
The proposal involves increasing the monthly honorarium of an office boy or peon from Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000. The honorarium of Coordinator and Assistant Manager can be increased from Rs 58,000 to around Rs 70,000. At the same time, there is a proposal to increase the honorarium of computer operator from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
Apart from this, the honorarium of Accountant can be increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 36,000, that of Manager Accounts from Rs 40,000 to Rs 48,000 and that of Stenographer from Rs 30,000 to Rs 36,000. It is also proposed to increase the honorarium of vehicle drivers and employees working on other posts.
Assistant Manager IT gets the most benefit
According to the proposal, the biggest increase could be in the honorarium of Assistant Manager (IT). There are plans to increase his honorarium from Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000. At the same time, there is a proposal to increase the honorarium of guard-cum-caretaker from Rs 8,013 to Rs 10,416.
At present the employees are awaiting final approval on the proposal. The situation regarding salary increase and arrears will be completely clear only after the approval of the committee and issuance of official orders.
