New Delhi .New information has come to light regarding Salman Khan's next big project. Actor Rakeysh will be seen playing the role of Karna in Om Prakash Mehra's upcoming film. Information has come to light that Salman's character has been confirmed in the film. Salman Khan and Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra will work together for the first time in this project. The film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar's production company.
Detailed information related to the story of the film and the rest of the cast has not been revealed yet. However, after the news of Salman playing the character of Karna, the question is being raised whether the film will be based on the story of Mahabharata or some kind of modern approach will be included in it. No official detailed information is available regarding this right now.
Earlier in June, information about Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra narrating the script of the film to Salman Khan was revealed. It was told that Salman liked the story and character and he agreed to do the film. According to the information now revealed, his character in the film has been decided as Karna.
For the role of Karna, Salman Khan will have to change his look and body. According to the report, the actor will undergo physical transformation for the character. According to Salman, this role will suit him well. However, not much information has been made public yet regarding how Karna's character will be presented in the film.
This will be the first film of Salman Khan and Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra. Mehra has earlier made films on different subjects. He has directed films like Rang De Basanti with Aamir Khan and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag with Farhan Akhtar. Now Salman Khan will be seen in the lead role in his next film.

Its release date can be decided only after receiving the certificate. It has also been revealed that the film has a connection with China, due to which its release is said to be delayed.
According to the information, the release date of the film can be announced after getting the CBFC certificate. However, looking at the current release schedule, the chances of the film hitting the theaters this year are said to be low and it may be pushed to 2027.
