Chennai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu met her old co-star and now Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay in Chennai. Both of them have previously done three big Tamil films together. After the meeting, Samantha shared two pictures with Vijay and wrote a long note which is going viral on social media.
Samantha was seen in red saree, wrote about the heart
Samantha wore a red saree and yellow blouse for the meeting. Along with the pictures, she wrote that she was happy as soon as she reached Chennai because she was going to meet her CM.
Samantha said, “I always felt that Vijay sir was not made just to be a hero on screen. His energy, his presence and the way people responded to him, made me feel that he was made for some big responsibility.”
He described Vijay’s biggest inspiration as his courage. “It is not easy to leave a field in which you are already successful and take up a new challenge. But when you feel that you can make a change, then you have to step up.”
This message was given for the youth
Samantha wrote that sometimes in life every person gets the call to think beyond himself. “How can we contribute is the question we have to ask ourselves. Very few people respond to that call. I think Vijay sir will surprise even those who already trust him.”

He further said that this surprise will not be because of the position, but because of the intention with which he is working. Samantha asks for Vijay’s strength, wisdom and courage to stay on his path.
At the end of the post, he wrote for the youth, “For every youth watching this, let it be a reminder that life can be bigger than the dream you started with.”

Have worked together in three hit films
The pairing of Vijay and Samantha is considered a superhit in Tamil cinema. The two first worked together in AR Murugadoss’s film Kathi in 2014. After this, both were seen together in Theri in 2016 and Mersal in 2017. All three films were big hits at the box office and fans liked this pairing very much. Now that Vijay is in politics, this meeting and post of Samantha has become an emotional moment for the fans.
