In Samastipur of Bihar also, a video of blatant indecency with a girl has surfaced on social media.
According to the information, some youths allegedly surrounded a girl who had stopped to take photographs on the Dam Bypass Road in Jagatsinghpur village of the district. During this time, the youth abused and misbehaved with the girl. During this time, someone made a video of the incident, which went viral from Wednesday night. Samastipur police became active as soon as the video surfaced. The police took immediate action on the basis of the viral video and took four youths into custody. Police are interrogating all four suspects. Investigation is ongoing to identify other people involved in the incident.
The girl was taking photos on the roadside, when the young man arrived
According to local people, the girl was passing through the dam bypass road with a young man. Both of them stopped on the roadside and were taking photos. Meanwhile, three people reached there and surrounded the girl. During this, the youth allegedly misbehaved with the girl. In the viral video, the young man asks the girl about her parents' name, address etc. They use abusive language. In the video, they touch the girl badly and drag her on the road. While doing all this, someone made a video and shared it on social media, which went viral within no time.
Police came into action
The matter came to the notice of the police after the video went viral on social media late Wednesday evening. After this, the police took the matter seriously and started identifying the youth seen in the video. The accused youth identified by the police have been identified as Vikas Sharma and Rahul Kumar, residents of Jagatsinghpur village of Karpurigram police station area. Out of these, Vikas Sharma has many cases registered against him for liquor smuggling and related matters. According to Superintendent of Police Arvind Pratap Singh, two youths have been identified so far.
The role and involvement of other people in the incident is also being investigated, and the remaining accused are also being identified. Considering the seriousness of the matter, Samastipur SP Arvind Pratap Singh has given instructions to immediately investigate the authenticity of the viral video and identify all the people involved in the incident and take strict action against them.
