Recent speculation about comedian Samay Raina and actress Medha Shankr had surfaced online, with social media users discussing claims that the two might get married in December. Neither Samay nor Medha had confirmed the reports.
The latest discussion began after a user on X shared a screenshot of a Reddit post. The post had reportedly claimed that Samay was set to marry the 12th Fail actress in December. The original Reddit post later appeared to have been deleted, and the claim could not be independently verified.
The screenshot also contained a claim from the person who had posted it, saying they were close to Samay’s family. The person further alleged that they had spoken to the comedian’s mother. However, there was no public confirmation from Samay or his family regarding the claim.
Another social media claim had also suggested that Samay and Medha had already married in a private ceremony. That claim was likewise not supported by any official statement from either of them.
The rumours had continued amid earlier speculation about their relationship. Samay had referred to Medha as his “sabse accha dost” during an episode of India’s Got Latent 2. The comment had added to online discussion, although neither of them had publicly confirmed that they were dating.
Their public appearances had also attracted attention. The two had been seen together at events, including the Anandam premiere in June, while reports had also linked them to an airport sighting.
More recently, a blurred photograph that was said to show Samay and Medha in Interlaken, Switzerland, had circulated on social media. The authenticity of the photograph had not been independently confirmed.
