The end of the year 2026 is going to be very wonderful for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UPSSSC is fully prepared to conduct a total of 11 new recruitment examinations by the month of December this year. Through all these examinations, qualified youth will be selected for 6,643 vacant posts in different departments of the state. Along with this, due to a record number of more than 35 lakh applications received in the Preliminary Eligibility Test i.e. PET-2026, this time a huge responsibility has fallen on the shoulders of the Commission.
Complete schedule of 11 examinations to be held till December
According to the information given by UPSSSC, a total of 13 examinations have been successfully conducted till September 15 this year. Now the complete program of conducting 11 more examinations by the coming month of December is proposed. A total of 6,643 posts from various departments have been included in these examinations. About 64 new requisitions have been included in these next phase examinations. According to the rules, the Commission prepares a new schedule for the entire selection process only after receiving requisitions from the departments.
Recruitment process will proceed on 37,312 posts by the end of the year
According to the data of the Commission, there is every possibility of speeding up the recruitment process for about 37,312 posts through a total of 24 examinations in the year 2026. Among these, a large number are of such recruitments, whose examinations have already been conducted. The main goal of the Commission is to complete all the different stages of the recruitment process within the stipulated time limit, so that various departments of the state can get new and qualified employees as soon as possible.
Record 35 lakh applications received for PET-2026
This year's preliminary qualifying examination i.e. PET-2026 is going to prove to be one of the biggest examinations of Uttar Pradesh Commission. About 35 lakh candidates from across the state have applied for this examination. Let us tell you that the score card of PET will remain completely valid for three years, on the basis of which candidates will be able to appear in all the upcoming main recruitment examinations in which the eligibility of PET will be decided compulsorily.
Recruitment for more than 79 thousand posts in the last five years
If we look at the data of the last few years, from the year 2021 till now, more than 79,078 posts have been included in total 52 examinations of UPSSSC. According to official data, the recruitment process for 16,602 posts was taken forward through 18 examinations in the year 2025, while in the year 2026 alone, 37,312 posts have been included through 24 examinations. It is clear that this year there has been a huge increase in the number of posts in the recruitment process of government jobs, which is a golden opportunity for the youth.
