Satyagraha of Congress in case of Shri Ram temple donation; Demand for fair investigation
Karad: in Ayodhya Shri Ram MandirSatyagraha movement ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram’ was held in Satara city on Friday on behalf of Satara District Congress Committee to demand that strict action should be taken against the culprits after an impartial investigation into the alleged malpractices in donations and donation boxes. After the agitation, the Congress delegation submitted a statement to the Satara city police station and demanded that a case be filed against the concerned.
In the agitation led by District President Namdevrao Patil in Hanuman Mandir area, Zilla Parishad Member Sunandamai Patil, Panchayat Samiti Member Ravi Badekar, All India Congress Committee OBC Division Vice President Bhanudas Mali, Women District Congress President Sushmaraje Ghorpade, State General Secretary Ajitrao Patil, Youth Congress District President Rahul Raj Pawar, Senior Leaders Babasaheb Kadam, Rafikbhai, Anwarbhai, Sevadal District President Pratap Deshmukh, Student Congress President. District President Mubeen Bagwan, District President of SC Department Sanjay Tadakhe, Manoj Kumar Chekhe, Karad South Women Congress President Vaishali Jadhav along with district office bearers, women workers and Congress workers participated in large numbers.
On this occasion, Namdevrao Patil drew attention to allegations of alleged misappropriation of cash, gold-silver and other valuables donated by devotees across the country for the Shri Ram temple. He demanded that there should be a thorough and transparent investigation into the matter without any bias and strict legal action should be taken against the culprits. He clarified that the truth is necessary to come before the people as this matter is not only limited to financial affairs but is related to the faith of crores of Ram devotees.
After the agitation, the Congress delegation made a statement at the Satara city police station and demanded that the administration investigate the matter and file a case against the culprits, and also conduct the entire investigation in a transparent manner and present the facts to the public.
